Terms & Conditions

Last Updated January 9, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all charters, bookings, and services provided by La Ondina Yacht Charters (“La Ondina,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a charter or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Charter Reservations

All charters are reserved for a specific date and time. A booking is not considered confirmed until payment has been received and confirmation is issued.

Payments

Charter fees are paid in advance through our booking system unless otherwise agreed. Captain and crew fees and fuel are not included in the charter price and are handled separately as outlined during booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • 7 or more days prior to departure: 100% refund of the charter fee

  • 2–6 days prior to departure: 50% refund of the charter fee

  • Within 24 hours of departure: 25% refund of the charter fee

In cases of unsafe weather or conditions, La Ondina may reschedule the charter or offer alternative arrangements at our discretion.

Weather & Safety

Safety is our top priority. The captain has final authority regarding weather conditions, routes, and operational decisions. If conditions are deemed unsafe, charters may be delayed, modified, or rescheduled.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave responsibly and follow all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew. La Ondina reserves the right to terminate a charter without refund if guest behavior compromises safety, violates the law, or causes damage to the vessel.

Alcohol & Substances

Alcohol consumption is permitted for guests of legal age. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. The captain may restrict alcohol consumption if safety is a concern.

Damage & Liability

All guests are required to sign a liability waiver prior to boarding. Participation in boating activities involves inherent risks, which guests voluntarily assume by joining the charter.

Third-Party Services

La Ondina is not responsible for services or products provided by third parties, including catering, transportation, or water activities arranged at the guest’s request.

Changes to Charters

Charter routes, destinations, and activities may change due to weather, safety, or operational considerations.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
